What is Qwoter?

Qwoter [pronounced: kwoh-ter] was initially founded in 2005 as a stock market news site that featured public company profiles and personal interviews with their company CEO’s and officers. Our goal was to inform investors of newly publicly traded companies and help give them the knowledge and tools to make informed investment and financial decisions.

It didn’t take long before we discovered that many investors did not have reliable information and reputable advice to follow and often were victims of ‘self stock promotion’ (artificially promoting stocks an individual or company owns in order to raise the stock price so they can sell their own shares while others buy in) and various other stock scams. Because of this, we started to specialized in a unique stock spam reporting system to help educate and protect investors from ‘pump and dump’ stock schemes. By reporting stocks that were being heavily spammed and artificially inflated, investors had an invaluable investment tool and could learn to avoid buying these types stocks. The more informed investors are, the better investment and financial decisions they can make to better protect their money.

Since then, we felt it was critical to expanded to several additional financial topics and industries, ranging from buying your first stock to cashing out your IRA for retirement – and everything in between!

Our Mission

We know that one of the most motivating aspects about investing and stock market trading is the possibility of being able to buy an investment or a stock and have it explode and rise up to new highs – making you lots of money in the process!

However, the problem that we saw was that many investors and stock traders don’t (and can’t) make profitable trades because they don’t actually know how to consistently pick solid investments and valuable stocks for themselves. They simply just try to reply on financial “gurus” and experts to tell them how they should invest their own money.

There are lots of self-proclaimed gurus out there and websites that claim they can give you these “inside trading tips” and profitable investment advice to make you money. Unfortunately, the reality is that you are just making THEM money by either buying THEIR product(s) or investing in stocks THEY OWN for themselves. When you’re buying in, they’re selling!

Qwoter was founded on the principle to not try to simply present viewers with “hot stock tips”, but to rather educate each investor and stock trader with the knowledge , information, news and tools so they can find the next hot stock or investment themselves – all for free! By showing you how to use proven stock trading strategies, truthful stock tips and professional investment advice (all from experienced and reputable financial experts), you will be able to determine which stocks and investments are worth your hard-earned money – not just blindly following the advice of some unknown “stock guru” and praying they are right.
