Stock Trader
You are not an investment gambler, you are a stock trader. Keep in mind that gamblers don’t receive investment returns because they are second best most of the time. You can only get monetary gains if you trade professionally. As a trader, you should look at your stocks as your investments that you need to manage by taking appropriate steps and avoiding unrealistic trades.
Trading systems are sets of policies and regulations that you can utilize to discern the most appropriate entry and exit points from your position. Formulating and using a stock trading system can assist you to obtain regular returns while restraining the investment risks. These tools are efficient since they can eliminate your quirky and obstructive behavior while you are trading.
What kind of stock trader are you? There are a variety of personalities at work in the market, many of them self destructive. Ideally, you want to have aspects of each as a sort of personality disorder, but most of us are just one or another.
If you are a stock trader, only trade in active stocks that have a history of moving in an orderly manner. Never buy stocks because they look cheap on the assumption they will have to recover one day. Only buy stocks that are acting stronger than the parent Index. A stock needs to be resisting down moves in the Index.
So you want to become a full time stock trader?
This is the dream of many. The problem is that it is very easy to be wiped-out in the learning process. Some lucky people have the skills to make money from the stock market and keep it, knowing very little. This is because they are skilled at money management and taking risks. They know how to handle a risk – bookmakers generally make good traders because they are skilled and practised at risk-taking and know how to handle it.
