VTEX Energy, Inc. (VTEX) is an independent oil and natural gas company focused on the acquisition, exploitation, development and operation of oil and natural gas reserves in the United States, primarily in Texas, Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region. The Company's business model is specifically designed to avail opportunities available to small companies in the domestic oil and natural gas industry. VTEX markets the oil and natural gas production from its properties to three customers, one of which represented approximately 98% of the Company's total oil and natural gas revenues during the year ended April 30, 2006 (fiscal 2006). The estimated proved oil and natural gas reserves of VTEX at April 30, 2006 were 108,000 barrels of crude oil and condensate and 10,277,000 thousand cubic feet of natural gas. The Company has one wholly owned subsidiary, Vector Exploration, Inc.
