Heartland Oil and Gas Corporation is an oil and gas company primarily engaged in exploration, development and sale of coal bed methane (CBM) gas in the Cherokee basin and Forest City basin of eastern Kansas; natural gas from a 700-acre property located in Palo Pinto, Texas; and oil and natural gas from a 3,000-acre property in Jack County, Texas. Heartland Gas Gathering LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary, is responsible for gas sales and operation of the Company’s pipeline and associated facilities. Heartland Oil and Gas, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, holds the Company’s interest in approximately 645,000 acres in the Cherokee and Forest City basin and operates project areas in eastern Kansas. Heartland Oil and Gas has a natural gas sales and marketing agreement with Texas Energy Management Corp, for the sale of all of the natural gas produced by the Texas properties.
