Qwoter Notes

Michael McDonnough, president of Remington Ventures, wrote to explain how the company's stock came to be advertised by spam:

Remington Ventures Inc was an inactive company for a short period of time. During this time the company was the victim of a hijacking of our company CUSIP number and subsequently the fraudulent company of a similar name used that information and did a pump and dump spam operation ... The company did not have knowledge of this until after the damage was done. No officer of the company was involved. The SEC temporarily suspended trading of the stock during their investigation. They found no wrong doing on the part of the company and trading has been restored.
